Step 1: Map Business Return Type
Configure your file path locations for your Lacerte connection.
Note, this step only needs to be completed once.
Step 2: Ensure all documents are validated
In the Juno web app, open the business return you want to export and confirm that all documents have been uploaded and validation is complete before proceeding.
Step 3: Open the Integration App and Filter for Business Returns
Open the Juno integration app.
Click Filter and set the return type to Business. Apply the filter.
Your business return clients will now be displayed.
Step 4: Select the Client and Verify the Lacerte Client ID
Find the client you want to export and click on it.
Before proceeding, verify that the Lacerte client ID shown in the integration app matches the client ID in Lacerte. This ensures data is exported to the correct return.
Step 5: Export to Lacerte
Two documents are available for export:
Profit & Loss
Balance Sheet
Both will be added in form. Once ready, click Export to Lacerte. The export will run automatically.
Step 5: Verify the Exported Data
Once the export is complete, open the return in Lacerte to confirm all data came across correctly. You should see the following fully populated:
Income statement
Cost of Goods Sold
Deductions
Balance Sheet
