CCH Axcess Consolidated 1099 Mapping

How to use alternative mapping to get Brokerage Statements into the CCH Consolidated 1099 section.

Updated over a month ago

Video instructions are available here: CCH Consolidated 1099 Walkthrough

Juno's default export option for brokerage statements is to enter the data into the standard 1099 B, Misc, Int, and Div sections in CCH, depending on what is reported on the statement. Within CCH, there is a Consolidated 1099 section where these can all be input together. Juno can export the data here with just a small adjustment to your settings.

To enable Consolidated 1099B Mapping within the Juno Web App, navigate to "Organization" and select "Organization Settings" at the top of the screen. There will be an option "Use CCH Consolidated 1099 .dat Layout". After selecting this, you can click "Save" and return to Preparer.

Important Note: This Change must be made by the Juno Organization Admin

The accounts for your 1099 consolidated entries will show up in the below screen when you proceed through Preparer. Within each brokerage account, the associated 1099 B, MISC, INT or DIVs will be listed in the drop down under "Document Name".

Important Notes:

  • For documents to be entered in the consolidated 1099 section, they must be validated as Brokerage Statements.

  • To ensure that the payer information is filled out correctly, please upload one complete Brokerage Statement per PDF.

  • All related 1099B, INT, DIV, and MISC will be grouped based on account number. Within the Preparer Human In The Loop Screen, please make sure each form within a 1099B has an account number entered.

Juno's data mapping process will function like it does for all other supported tax forms. The Consolidated 1099 section in CCH will be updated with the payer's information and values on any forms that are present (1099INT, 1099DIV, 1099MISC, and Capital Gains & Losses) within the brokerage statement.
