Sending Documents from TaxDome to Juno

Everything you need to know to send documents from TaxDome to Juno.

Updated over a month ago

If you haven’t connected Juno and TaxDome please read our Connecting TaxDome and Juno article prior to following these steps.

Now that your TaxDome and Juno accounts are connected you’ll see the “Send to Juno” button in your Docs tab.

Important Note: If you are not an Admin in your TaxDome account you will need a member of your team with Admin access to toggle on "Use Juno Integration" within Team Members section of "Team & Plans”.

Select the documents you want to push to Juno. You can select documents individually, or an entire folder. Upon doing so, you’ll see the “Send to Juno” button become active.

To push the documents to Juno click “Send to Juno.” If an existing preparation is already created for the corresponding client the selected documents will be added to the preparation. If you have not yet started a preparation for the client Juno will create one and the documents you sent will be there.

Before you send the documents over, you will see the below screen where you can select the Taxpayer and Tax Year. This is the name and year that will be used to create the client and preparation in Juno. You will want to ensure that all documents for the return (including those for a Spouse or Joint forms) are sent using the name that the return is under in your Tax Software.

Log in to Juno and view the Preparer Dashboard. Here you’ll see your preparations. Find the corresponding client that you pushed documents for and click into that client to begin reviewing the extracted data.

Now you’re using Juno! Check out our Step-by-Step Preparation guides to see what to do next. You can always return to TaxDome to send more preparations.
